One more project comoplete for the dining room!! I needed a ledge and I needed hooks for under this big mirror. We do not have an entry way closet near our door. I have some hooks in another spot, but not enough with 5 people in your family, let alone when people come over, I have no where to put extra jackets. Our dining room isn’t the most ideal place for hanging extra coats, so I really wanted something that wasn’t sore on the eyes.
So what better place to go for inspiration and ideas?? Pinterest!! I found a DIY ledge that the girls from Shanty-2-Chic had made. This was perfect, so thought I would give it a whirl. Turned out exactly how I wanted it too.

The hooks happened to be reused from the house. They were in a closet in the basement when we moved in. They added a nice touch.
A perfect spot for guests to put jackets etc.
